Greetings! Cricket Lovers The weather played a major role in this weekend's fixtures. Kingsbury Construction posted 140-9 in 40 overs against Embassy for whom Ali Haider took 3-13. Embassy were in trouble at 31-4 in 12 overs when rain intervened to end the match.

Sri Lankan Cavaliers maintained their 100% league record and had Lankians in dire straits when rain took centre stage. Sri Lankan Cavaliers had posted 296-7 in 40 overs with Pasan Weeraratne (88) and Roy de Silva (75) leading the way with their contributions. Lankians were reduced to 98-6 in 18 overs. Kondor were bowled out for 97 against Rajput Samaj thanks largely to Bharat Damania taking 5-16. The game was evenly poised as Rajput moved to 66-6 in 21.5 overs.

All the matches in Division 2 were completed despite the weather. Welldon put an end to Indiana's unbeaten run of 9 league games. Ramya Upadhyay (3-12) and Monag Patel (3-13) restricted the Indiana score to 95 in 34.1 overs. Welldon eased to 98-3 in 27 overs with Ramya Upadhyay undefeated on 52. Bharat Olympian's Sunil Patel made 57 and took 3-16 in their 36 run victory over 2nd place Neasden and boosted their chances of moving into second place with their game in hand.. Tejas Mehta (3-8), Sandeep Bhanushali (3-10) and Hemant Patel (3-14) helped Dharmaj bowl out Muktajivan for 55 and than Tejas and Sandeep ensured they reached their target in 8.3 overs.

In Division 3, the clash between Shivam and Youth Wing was evenly poised when rain halted the match; similar outcome resulted in the match between Young Puthoharis and EKTA. Sayona's Samir Patel (4-14) and Shrikesh Patel (3-18) helped bowl out Regency for 92 and than Tejal Patel (28no) and Jatin Patel (32no) knocked off the runs in 15 overs as Sayona won by 9 wickets.
