Middlesex Premier Cricket League

Greetings! Cricket Lovers

The MPCL league side will be playing their cup match on 28th May against Herts and Essex CL or Essex CL. Any player wishing to represent the side should contact the team manager or divisional secretaries (see below)

Record 1st wicket partnership of over 250 runs between Akash Christian 161 not out and Anand Bakrania 125 laid the foundation to West Harrow's massive record total of 344-5 in 40 overs against Anson. Tight bowling from Alpesh Patel put lot of pressure on Anson batsman who were restricted to 154. Sri Lankan Cavaliers maintained their 100% record by dismissing Lankians for a paltry 71 with Roy De Silva taking 5-17; SLC romped home with 17 overs to spare.

In division 2, Indiana have gone to the top of the table following their win against Dharmaj. Double act with bat and ball by Indiana's Darshan Depala (61 & 3-27) and Chetan Depala (52 and 3-20) helped their team to a total of 178 and than assisted in bowling Dharmaj out for 110. Ayaz Saiyed (70no) and Jalu Patel (65) were principally instrumental in Neasden score of 219-3 against United Sports. Miten Patel took 5-17 including a hat-trick to bowl United Sports out for 144. Bharat Olympians restricted Welldon to 125 with Lawrence Dingre taking 4-3 than managed to win by one wicket in a tense finish.

Tejpal Singh of Young Puthoharis continued his good form with 106no and 4-7 in their win over Lohana. Jaymesh Patel of Youth Wing took 6-22 as they dismissed Sayona for 173 in 39.4 overs. Baukulesh Rawal made 67 as Youth Wing sneaked home with the last pair at the wicket with 2 overs to spare. Shivam's Kishor Deugi 4-26 and Bhavyesh Cantilal 3-10 helped bowl out South Harrow for 78 and than chased down the total in 10 overs for a very comfortable win. Regency's Vinod Savani took 4-41 against EKTA who managed to make 162 with Keval Shah top scoring with 44. Regency batsmen were unable to come to terms with the variety of EKTA bowling and were dismissed for 98.
