PALLY PAGLIUCA

This Yellow-Pages saleswoman turned entrepreneur opened her first brow bar in Selfridges, Birmingham, at the end of the 2006, using every penny of her savings. In less than a year, the 31-year-old mother from Dudley has opened four more, with a further seven concessions planned for the next couple of months.

To help her promote the Benito Brow Bar – named after her first child – Pagliuca has bagged an endorsement deal with celebrity television presenter Alison Hammond. Sales at the brow bars, which specialise in threading (designed to give you perfectly shaped eyebrows minus the tweezers), have already hit £1m.
