'MELA' BY TAJINDER SINGH HAYER, 17 -18 JULY 2008
	West Yorkshire Playhouse presents 'Mela' (Summer Festival) in Birmingham on 17th & 18th July 2008. Mela is a tale of friendship, aspirations and destiny written by Bradford born Tajinder Singh Hayer. The play is about the characters at a mela including Sajjad and Mariam exchanging barbed comments over his Al-Aqsa mosque calendars and her hand-made pottery. read more

	Big Dance 2008 is coming to West London venue Watermans from 8 -13 July 2008. The week starts with drop in classes with dance coach Natasha Mckenzie. Other events include a performance of 'The Wife's Letter', a dance solo based on the writings of Rabindranath Tagore; a community dance show, performances of 'Ether' and 'Bhakti' by Angika dance company. read more
