NAZIA
HASSAN FOUNDATION BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION 2008 The Nazia Hassan Foundation, set up in memory of the famous songstress, organised a seminar to celebrate her birthday on Thursday 24th April 2008. The event was hosted by Lord Ahmed of Rotherham at the House of Lords and generated much debate on the topic of 'Is Britain a well integrated multicultural and multiracial melting pot?'. Lord Herman Ouseley gave the keynote address on the same topic, followed by a poem by Reginald Massey in honour of Nazia. Sabih Behzad anchored the seminar with a vote of thanks given by Zahra Hassan.
