Credit
crunch! What credit crunch? Obviously nobody
has told Lakshmi Mittal about the collapse in
the property market as he's just splashed out
£70 million on a third house in billionaire's
row. Given that his existing pad rivals Buckingham
Palace, what does he need the extra home for...
parking spaces??
There's
some gazumping going on in the art world. Barely
had Sotheby's announced that it would sell works
by Subodh Gupta and Bharti Kher on 1st July,
when Christie's jumps in with its sale of Subodh
Gupta on June 30th. Ironic that Bharti Kher's
work is a wild dog...grrrr! Still Subodh Gupta's
work 'Curry 2' looks like we could all give
it a go with our spare pots and pans....guess
all that stainless steel keeps Mr Mittal in
the house buying business!
